When God created the universe
Did He have a plan B?
When man was being perfected
Did He charge a fee?
Because if man had prepaid
For what he has freely got
He’d definitely be more careful
To remember lessons taught
He would not take his creator for granted
Nor would he ill-treat his home
The earth is actually all he has
He owes his existence to its loam
Yet the disdain and utter disregard
Of life and all that makes it alive
It must be plan B in the working
When man is made to struggle to survive
Comrades in arms the human race
You’ll find them at each other’s’ throat
More lies to cover up every mess
You wonder how he stays afloat
Maverick politics of a dirty dozen
Mass untruths amid a spineless multitude
Rule the roost giving falsehoods a boost
From where do we generate such attitude?
